Help a Leo Take a Needed Birthday Break

Thank you so much for stopping by my GoFundMe! As folks know, we're in an unprecedented time centered by a global pandemic and a global uprising. The city that I call home has been the catalyst for a lot of needed change and transformation and we have been able to inspire the world to do the same. With that has come a lot of work from myself and my community and it has been nonstop since the brutal lynching of George Floyd.
I don't usually plan things for my birthday but working every day for the last 10 weeks has made me realize how badly I need to take time a rest. I also REALLY didn't want to have a COVID birthday but I now have to concede that this will be my reality as I welcome in another year around the sun.
For my birthday, I was looking for a house or cabin in close-ish proximity to the metro that I could have (A FEW) friends over for a social distance weekend to get away for a bit. The one thing I really wanted was a pool or body of water. to be in. Unfortunately, I was unable to find someone who was able to provide that but I did find some places to congregate on AirBnb. The money raised will be to rent this AirBnb for the weekend and also covers the fees on GoFundMe as well.
If you honor my work and would like to give me a birthday present or token of appreciation, please feel free to donate or even just share this fundraiser. It would mean the world to me to be able to get away for just a weekend and remember what it feels like to be a Leo.
