Help a Latina Trans Woman Rebuild After Eviction

Hello everyone,

My name is Marlock (she/her), and I’m a 25-year-old trans woman from Venezuela. I’m reaching out through this GoFundMe because I am currently facing an incredibly difficult situation and urgently need support to avoid falling into deeper crisis.

In recent months, I’ve been dealing with severe mental health challenges and substance abuse problems, which deeply impacted my ability to maintain stable work and financial security. After being unemployed for some time, I started making efforts to get my life back on track. However, despite my progress, I fell behind on rent and essential bills, which ultimately led to my eviction.

Now officially homeless, I am desperately seeking funds to not only cover my outstanding debts but to continue my gender-affirming care, which has become more and more inaccessible. The costs associated with ongoing hormone replacement therapy, renewal of documentation and basic living expenses are overwhelming. Without urgent support, I may be forced to return to Barcelona, which would disrupt the progress I’ve made in both my transition and recovery here in the UK.

I am currently raising £2.500 to cover the following urgent expenses:

> - Rent arrears: £1,500

> - Wi-Fi: £16.18

> - Water: £17.80

> - Electric + Gas: £66

> - Council Tax: £195.60

> - Passport renewal: £27

£1888.26 + £612 to cover any temporary living expenses.

This sum would allow me to settle my debts and move forward, whether that means relocating back to Barcelona or starting anew in London while continuing my university studies.

This situation is urgent, and I’ve reached a point where I can no longer manage on my own. My friends have been incredible, offering all the support they can, but I’ve now exhausted those options. I am turning to the wider community for help to prevent further setbacks in my recovery, transition, and overall well-being.
