My daughter is 16 years old, and I am incredibly proud of the young person she is becoming.

For the past two years, she has saved every dollar she has been gifted. Birthday money, holiday money, anything she received, she put aside with intention. She also recently got her first job two days a week. Her hours are limited, but her work ethic is not. She shows up, works hard, and takes responsibility seriously.

What truly sets her apart is her heart.

She gives back to the community by volunteering and helping others whenever she can. If she sees someone unhoused, she does not look away. She will stop to offer food or clothing without being asked. Kindness comes naturally to her, and she believes in helping people simply because it is the right thing to do.

She is working toward buying a used car so she can get herself to work reliably and continue building independence. At her age, saving for a vehicle is a big goal, and she has already done so much on her own. This fundraiser is meant to help close the remaining gap and support her effort, not replace it.
