Hi, my name is Katie, and I’m a 22-year-old trans woman currently living in a hostile, unsupportive home environment. I’ve been working part-time at Mathnasium, but I only make $15/hour (not including taxes and other services), and my limited income doesn't bring me a lot of money and will make this a long process to move out. I am ultimately trying to move out of the country because of Trump's administration being openly hostile towards human rights, particularly for trans people.

Right now, I need $800 to move out of my parents' house. This is to ensure I have enough for food, utilities, and rent when I do move out so that I don't move back home.

I’m planning to use any additional funds to save toward moving out of my current situation into a safer, more stable home. Every donation, no matter how small, helps me take a step toward freedom.
