Hi, I’m Laticia. I’ve been working as an IBEW Local 3 electrician for 30 years, and I never could have imagined being in the position I find myself in today.
While working on the job one day, out of nowhere, I felt the worst pain ever. And that day was the beginning of my journey. I soon after learned that I have stage 3 endometrial cancer stage. To make matters worse, during the gynecological procedures to determine my diagnose, I suffered nerve damage to my legs, and then a DVT blood clot.
Between being unable to work, medical complications, constant medical bills, the raising cost of utilities and essentials, I’ve simply not been able to sustain myself.
My HRA card is depleted, and I’m struggling to keep the roof over my head.
All of this has been the most humbling experience in my life.
With your donations I will supplement the cost for housing; primarily the raising cost of electricity, and basic living essentials that come alone with the chemotherapy treatments. And most of all, it will help me cope with the side effects from the treatment with less stress.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any support you can offer.
If you are unable to give, please kindly share this GoFundMe, it would help out tremendously.
