Hello All,

We have been fortunate to meet and come to know a family over the last few years because of a friendship that started between classmates. An everlasting friendship between two teenage boys.

Our son’s middle school friend needs our help. He is 14 and a student here in Huntsville. He lives with his grandmother, aunt, and two of his cousins in 5 points. The household has a total of 3 children, two boys ages 14 and 11, and a 4 year old girl.

Life is hard and it’s been harder these days, especially trying to raise children. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances take place that knock us down financially. This family needs the help of 5 points community here in Huntsville, Alabama!

Over the last two months their vehicle has broken down, needing a new transmission and at least one tire. The lack of transportation to and from work has unfortunately led to loosing a full time job as well as a supplemental income delivering groceries and plasma donation.

The grandmother has been told they will need to be out of their rental property come Jan. 1st if they can’t pay past, present, and deposit back. They are desperate need of $4500.00 in just a short month time frame to be able to remain housed and not on the streets with children.

The holiday season is among us with Christmas just around the corner. Due to their circumstances the children will most likely go without presents this year.

I’m asking this holiday season, will you please donate a few extra dollars or a lot of extra dollars to help a local Huntsville family in need!
