Help a Homeless Widowed Mom and Son Find a Home

Hello. I'm a widowed single mom of a 16-year-old boy, with 3 cats. I lost my husband and father of my kiddo to ALS in 2013 and decided to take some time off work to be with my then 5-year-old, and life happened. A few years later, my appendix decided to burst and try to kill me. If I had waited 1 more day, I would have died. As it was, apparently, they almost lost me while operating, and it took me a little while to recover. All of this time, being out of work. I am now trying to get back into the workforce, but it's taking time. I am getting a Social Security death benefit, but it's not much. My kiddo, 3 cats, and I were recently evicted, which is a whole story in itself. I'm desperately trying to find work and somewhere to live; however, move-in costs can be high, and we're trying to find even a 1-bedroom that will take all of us. We are in a hotel right now but are out of money and will be in the car. I am trying to raise money for move-in costs and to try and keep a roof over our heads while we are trying to find a place. I have never done anything like this before and hate the position we are in.
