Hello, my name is Nat, and I'm a first-year Veterinary student fleeing domestic abuse. I had been in a relationship with my partner for almost two years, and over time, things escalated where I was no longer safe.
I became homeless due to leaving, and I am raising money to afford to survive.
Any funds raised would go towards my essential needs, such as:
- Rent for permanent accommodation
- Bills and utility costs for temporary accommodation
- Food
- Clothes
- Over-the-counter medicine
- Public transport costs
- General living costs
Right now, I'm using all the money I have to get by. I am trying my best not to get into debt, but being in this situation is taking a toll on my mental health like nothing I've ever known. I am mentally and physically exhausted, and I am only asking for help because I fear I have no other option. Unfortunately, this will be my last year in veterinary school due to the amount of stress this is causing me. I hope to go back when I recover from all of this.
