I made the difficult but necessary decision to leave an unhealthy relationship to protect myself and my children. While it was the right choice for our safety, it caused us to lose our home and we are currently staying in a Shelter. A shelter keeps us safe for now, but it is not a stable home. The shelter is also unhealthy. There’s mold in the bathrooms, on the ceilings, there’s old dried bugs in the refrigerators. There’s only one feeding quarter and we are not allowed to bring food into our rooms. (Even with small children). I could go on of how unhealthy and just not comfortable it is here at this shelter. We’ve all lost a significant amount of weight due to lack of meals. I am working as hard as I can to rebuild a safe, permanent home where my children can feel secure healthy happy again. I am humbly asking for as much help as we can possibly get to get back on our feet — with housing costs, household essentials, food, clothing, and daily needs. Even a prayer or a share would mean so much. No act of kindness is too small and no amount is too little. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and love.
