Hi, my name is Meka Cobbs, and I am reaching out for help in a way I never thought I would. I am a married mother of two young children who have recently found ourselves in an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking situation.

On December 11, 2024, my children and I were locked out of our home in the pouring rain. My spouse abandoned us in September, taking our only means of transportation, and leaving us with no way to get by. As a homeschooling family, I’ve always taken pride in caring for my children, but I was left with no support and, as a result, I lost my job.

After years of doing everything I could to keep us afloat, all of our savings have been spent, and my spouse has stopped paying any bills, leaving us with debt. Trying to seek assistance has been a struggle since we are still legally married, and navigating the legal and financial challenges of divorce, child support, and custody is nearly impossible without financial help.

I know that asking for help can be hard, but I am at a point where I have no other choice. My children and I are facing the unimaginable, and we need your support. Whether through prayer, financial assistance, or just words of encouragement, anything will make a difference.
