hi, my name is mimi or michelle. i’m 16 n i live in a group home with my three lil siblings, they’re 12, 8, and 6. this yr has been the hardest year we’ve been through. our parents are in jail, and ever since then it’s literally just been us and our social worker trying to hold it together.

doing my best to be the “big sister” and keep everyone calm, but honestly… it’s a lot. my siblings look at me for answers i don’t even have. they ask when things are gonna get better, if it’s going to be better, we all just wanna feel normal. i try to stay strong for them, but sometimes it feels like the whole world is on my shoulders.

we’re safe in the group home, but we’re still struggling. we don’t really get the things most families have, clothes that fit, little treats, stuff for school, even basic things we run out of fast. holidays hurt the most. watching my siblings try to act like it doesn’t bother them that we don’t have family showing up or caring :( that part breaks me.

so i made this gofundme for them. i just want them to feel like kids again, not like they have to grow up fast because of everything that’s happened.

what donations would help with:

• clothes + shoes for all four of us

• hygiene stuff + personal items

• school supplies

• transportation (bus passes, rides we need)

• holiday gifts so my siblings don’t feel forgotten
