Help a Hero Recover After Saving Lives

With his permission, I'm doing this GoFundMe for my boyfriend. On November 23 around 2:15 am, my boyfriend and his daughter were sleeping when there was a banging on his door and a woman screaming, "Please let me in, he's going to kill me." My boyfriend realizes it's his neighbor, and him being an ex-Navy and veteran, with no hesitation, opened the door and let her and her daughter in, telling them to run into his bedroom. As soon as he closed the door, shots were fired by the neighbor's husband into the townhome, with one bullet striking him in the arm, making him fall to the floor. He crawled a little, then got up and pushed the woman, her 2 daughters, and his daughter into the bedroom bathroom. This could've gone wrong in so many other ways. So thankful everyone was okay.

My boyfriend saved that woman and her daughters' lives. Words can't express how proud I am of his heroism. Unfortunately, the husband/gunman died of a self-inflicted wound. My boyfriend had surgery for his injuries and is now home, but this is just the beginning of the healing process. He'll be out of work for at least 6 weeks and will need all the help he can get for medical, monthly, and other bills during his recovery. Most of all, mentally and emotionally. I’d like to hopefully give him some type of relief and ease his stress from what he’s already gone through. Thank you all in advance. Anything helps, even a prayer. God bless.
