Help a Heartbroken Pibble Dad Fix his Princess's Boo-boo Leg

Hi, I'm Anthony. A little over 5 years ago, my best boy Odin turned 7. What better gift for a 7-year-old best boy than a little sister? So, Saga entered our lives with a will and personality to take over. Dubbed "The Baby" by my family, she remains so today. Five years later, she's a spoiled princess, and Odin and I are both obsessed with her. She sits in my lap while I work, bullies Odin when he plays, and charms everyone she meets. She's my perfect pibble princess.

Sadly, during play, she tore her left cranial cruciate ligament (or CCL). This is a common injury for dogs of all breeds and results in persistent pain and lameness, meaning that she's suffering and can't run, play, or do anything that strains her rear legs, such as climbing stairs or jumping onto beds. Worse yet, while one CCL is torn, it's almost certain that the other will tear too. It's a matter of time before both of her rear legs fail her. Her life will become one of pain and unhappiness, with very little that I can do for her. The best course of action is a tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (or TPLO) surgical operation. And, of course, this operation isn't affordable, especially combined with pre-op procedures such as X-rays and testing, along with post-op physical rehabilitation.

I can't accept my baby living such a painful and unsatisfying life and have already begun the process. Pre-op is done, and now we wait on a date for the procedure. During this time, I humbly ask for any financial assistance that anyone is willing to lend. If all goes well, Saga's procedure will return her to being a physically active, healthy, and happy girl. She'll be able to run with -- and torment -- Odin again. And the risk of tearing her right CCL will be reduced.

Please, help me help my baby girl. There are no words that can adequately express the depth of my gratitude for coming to Saga's aid in her time of need.

Update: 10/12
Saga's procedure has been scheduled for Friday, October 17th. So, I have decided to run her GoFundMe until the end of the month. I want to thank everyone who has donated and shared so far. It's truly humbling to see family, friends, neighbors, and strangers come together to help my baby girl.

Update: 10/17
Today was an anxious day for everyone, but Saga made it through her surgery without complications! Now she's home and sleeping off the drugs. Starting tomorrow she has 12 weeks of rehab ahead of her.

(I have just discovered the Updates button, and will do proper updates from now on.)
