Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of a mother whose pain is beyond what words can describe.

Her heart has been broken again — she has now lost her second son, Thomas Hyatt, to a senseless act of violence.

Thomas was tragically stabbed while watching over a neighbor’s property and defending his brother. He was doing what came naturally to him — protecting others, standing up for what’s right, and showing the same courage and love that defined who he was.

This devastating loss comes just two years after her first son, Timothy Hyatt, was also taken from her through violence. No mother should ever have to bury one child, let alone two. And before these heartbreaking losses, she also lost her husband — leaving her to carry the weight of unimaginable grief on her own.

Thomas was deeply loved — a kind, loyal soul with a big heart and a strong spirit. His mother and everyone who knew him are struggling to comprehend how so much tragedy could fall on one family.

We are asking for help to ease some of the financial burden as she faces this unimaginable pain once again. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses, memorial costs, and helping this mother find some stability and peace during this heartbreaking time.
