Everything my cousin and her two children knew as normal was turned upside down in an instant.

On Sunday, September 21st, It was her Birthday. After stepping outside for a quick cigarette, she opened the bedroom door and witnessed her fiancé take his own life right in front of her.

Through shock and heartbreak, her 15-year-old daughter called 911 and applied pressure to his head while my cousin performed CPR until paramedics arrived. Despite their heroic efforts, he passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.

He was the family’s sole provider. Now, as they grieve and she searches for work, urgent expenses—rent, bills, food, and daily needs—continue.

We lean on Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Even in the darkest night, God’s light still shines.

She also needs a vehicle if anyone has one their willing to donate it don’t have to be fancy just something to help her so she can have transportation once she gets a Job.
