Hi, I'm Mia Lee, an intuitive healer based in Oakland, CA. I started this fundraiser to build my business. My service is an experiential healing process with a focus on inner child work via a guided journey, which is similar to guided visualization. I help clients connect to themselves to better connect with others. Brené Brown speaks powerfully to the importance of this connection in this video.
The pandemic revealed the extent of the need for mental health and wellness. I believe there is no going back from this knowledge. I see the opportunity for people to get better and live with intention. I believe entirely in our ability to grow and transform when we understand what drives our thoughts and behaviors. I floundered professionally for most of my life, disconnected from a sense of purpose. It has been a decades-long process to heal and understand my mental health issues and to find my personal holy grail: purposeful, values-aligned work where I can harness my favorite skills and passions.
Hindsight has given me clarity to see that though the path was long and often hidden, this healing and growth has led me to the exact right spot and to the opportunity to serve. I feel in complete alignment with my path and my purpose when I help clients connect with themselves in a profound and healing way. I never thought of myself as an entrepreneur. Up until recently, I wanted the security of steady employment and tried to just show up and do my job. - 6 months of living expenses
- Hiring a marketing consultant and equipment costs
- A car down payment. I've had 5 car break-ins since December resulting in a broken ignition, 2 broken windows, and a stolen catalytic converter. It's time for the sweet old Honda to go.
