We’re raising funds to support a determined young man in his freshman year at Shippensburg University. Despite his incredible dedication, he is currently facing an unexpected financial barrier that could prevent him from continuing his education.

In high school, he was not only an honor student but also a talented baseball player, showing the same commitment and discipline both on the field and in the classroom. His hard work earned him scholarships and financial aid, but after everything was applied, he still has an outstanding balance of $2,227 on his tuition bill.

Because of his family’s struggles—including periods of homelessness—he does not have financial support at home and is unable to qualify for additional student loans. As a result, a hold has been placed on his account, which means he will not be able to register for his Spring semester classes unless the balance is paid in full by December.

This young man has already overcome so many obstacles to make it to college, and we want to help ensure that his journey doesn’t end here. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in keeping his dreams alive.
