Help a Hardworking Single Mom of 4 Stay Afloat

Hi, my name is Samaria, and I’m a newly single mother of four amazing kids, living in Houston, TX. Life has hit us hard these past few months, and I’m humbly asking for help as we work to get back on our feet. Donations will be used to avoid eviction.

I’ve been running my own cleaning business for the past year, and on top of that, I also drive for Lyft, Uber, and DoorDash to make ends meet. I’ve even started offering balloon decorations and party favors to bring in extra income. I’ve been doing everything I can to provide for my children and keep things going.

Unfortunately, last month a large portion of my earnings was stolen, which put me behind on bills. Then this month, I went through a very painful breakup that shook our household and made things even harder financially and emotionally. Now, I’m two months behind on rent and utilities, and I’m doing everything I can not to lose everything I’ve worked so hard to build.

What keeps me going is my kids. They’re incredible. All four are in middle & high school and thriving—honor roll students, involved in sports, theater, and full of promise. They’re my motivation every single day, and I refuse to give up, even when things feel impossible. I’ve come too far!
