Help a Grieving Mother After the Sudden Loss of Her Husband
Donation protected
This past week, my world was turned upside down in the most unimaginable way. My husband, Matt—the love of my life and the devoted father of our one-year-old twins—was taken from us suddenly in a tragic accident. One moment, he was inside our home kissing our babies and the next he’s in the yard and then suddenly gone. We just celebrated their first birthday two weeks ago and never in a million years did I think it would be the first and last.
There are no words to describe the pain our family is going through. Matt was everything. He was the kind of man who lived for his family. He worked tirelessly so I could stay home to raise our children. He never asked for anything in return—his joy came from watching our twins grow and knowing we were all safe.
He was gentle, loving, and our safe place.
Now I find myself a widow and a single mother to little ones who are too young to understand that their daddy isn’t coming home. My heart is broken, and I don’t know how to begin explaining this to them—today, tomorrow, or in the years ahead.
I’ve never been one to ask for help, but I’m here because I need it. I’m facing the overwhelming weight of funeral expenses, basic living costs, formula, supplies for the twins, and the reality of needing to support our family on my own. Matt’s parents live out of state and want to help us, but even moving to be closer to them would involve costs we simply can’t manage right now.
Every donation—no matter the amount—will go toward:
•Funeral and memorial expenses
•Essentials for our babies (formula, diapers, clothing)
•Rent& bills
.Possible relocation to be near family and support
•Creating a small safety net as I find my footing in this new, unfamiliar life
Matt was only 33, a phenomenal man, father, son, brother, and friend. He deserved more time. We all did.
If you’re able to give, or even just share this page, it would mean the world to us. Your support, love, and compassion during this time of unbearable grief will never be forgotten.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
