In March 2025, my dear friend and her family suffered an unimaginable loss when their beloved mum and wife passed away. After living with Multiple Sclerosis for many years, she was diagnosed with cancer in December 2024. Despite their heartbreak, they came together to care for her with incredible love and strength, but unfortunately she passed away just a few months later —far sooner than anyone expected.

While still deep in grief and trying to adjust to life without her, tragedy struck again!

Just recently, their family home was severely damaged in a house fire in Chichester, West Sussex. The structure has been compromised, including everything inside—precious belongings, clothes, furniture, memories and even all the remaining belongings they had left to remember their mum/wife has all been destroyed due to fire, smoke, and water damage. They have lost everything.

This is a kind, humble, and strong family that has faced more than anyone should have in such a short time. They’ve shown immense love and strength through the hardest times, and now they need support to get back on their feet.

I’m hoping to raise funds to help them with immediate needs—temporary accommodation, clothing, essentials—and, in the longer term, to help rebuild what was lost.
