As a first grade teacher, I have the privilege of supporting my students and their families through both joyful and difficult times. Recently, one of my students experienced an unimaginable loss when his brother passed away unexpectedly in California. The family is heartbroken and, on top of their grief, is facing the challenge of not having the funds to travel across the country for the funeral.

The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward travel expenses and accommodations, allowing the family to be together and say their final goodbyes. Being able to attend the funeral is incredibly important for their healing, and your support will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
