At Hobark Dog Training, we’ve had the privilege of working with a beautiful family and their three beloved Labradors—Hades, Scarlet, and Raven—for the past five years. Throughout this time, we’ve witnessed firsthand the deep love and connection this family shares—not just with each other, but with their dogs, who have provided comfort, safety, and joy during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Now, this family is facing a heartbreaking loss.

The devoted mother and dog lover at the heart of this family was suddenly diagnosed with aggressive cancer, just a few months ago. Tragically, her time left with her family is now down to days. The illness has progressed with devastating speed, leaving her loved ones reeling and trying to prepare for a life without her.

Her partner Aaron has spent the past 12 years as her full-time carer. His world revolved around her. In the middle of his grief, he’s now faced with the overwhelming reality of covering rent, bills, funeral costs, supporting their dependent children—and, of course, continuing to care for their beloved Labradors who are feeling this change too.

We are hoping to raise funds to give Aaron and the family some space to breathe, to grieve, and to begin to adjust without the immediate pressure of financial hardship. Your generosity will help lift the weight, even just a little, from this family’s shoulders—and allow them to focus on healing, not just surviving.
