Hello everyone,

I’ve started this GoFundMe to help raise money for a person who really deserves a little break.

If you’re not aware, at the end of 2020 I was in a horrible motorcycle accident in Thailand. The emergency surgeon wasn’t sure if I would lose my leg or not. Luckily he was able to put me back together. It took 3 surgeries and over 4 months before I could start walking again.

I’ve made a full recovery, and I truly believe I owe my health and healing to Lek.

For a couple weeks I was on my own and living off food deliveries. Not healthy stuff.

She moved in with me not long after my first surgery and took excellent care of me. She went to the market daily, cooked healthy food, made fresh smoothies every day. Lek also helped motivate me to do my PT and make healthy choices. Not to mention that I spent about month in the hospital and she was there every minute helping me communicate with doctors and nurses and sleeping on chairs and couches. Without her there I have no idea how I would have been able to deal with all my medical appointments and communications.

She did all this out the goodness of her heart. I am so thankful she was there and helping me so selflessly.

If you’re happy I have 2 legs and that you can go and do all fun things with me, then please realize it’s her who I owe my health to.

Currently Lek is living in China working full time as masseuse at an upscale Thai spa. She works 12 hour shifts and only gets 4 days off a month. She earns less than $1k a month and still has to pay for her cost of living. Her goal is to save money enough to buy a small plot of land and build a small home in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She also is in great need of extensive dental work. All these things are looking nearly impossible to her.

In my time living abroad I’ve come to realize how extremely lucky I am to have been born a white male in America. The opportunities I have available to me are so much greater than those born in a different country. Lek also has a college degree and yet it’s nearly impossible to get a job that is even a fraction of the income I can earn just because of where I’m from.

So, if I was a rich guy(financially) I would just give her the money she needs to buy and build a house and get her teeth taken care of. But while I’m rich in experience, I’m not so wealthy in the monetary sense.

Please help me raise money for this amazing woman who tries so hard and gets so little.
