Help a great man in need Bob Carbone
Donation protected
I was able to visit Bob Carbone yesterday. Bobby had a serious stroke on July 4th.
Bob started selling cars in 1978. He worked for the Holman organization, the Piazza dealerships, the Martin dealerships and the Foulke organization. Bob was a good salesman and is one of the nicest guys that you could ever hope to meet.
I really wasn’t prepared to see him in his current condition. Bob has limited use of his left arm and physically, that’s it. He can speak but his vocabulary is limited. I only heard him say “YES” and “OK” over and over during my time with him. For me, the saddest part of the whole situation is that he knows what is going on. When we talked about old times or the Eagles; he remembered, laughed and understood but can’t verbalize a response.
I should mention that he is living in a second story bedroom with his ex-wife Julie and her husband. There is no nurse, no physical therapy and no way to get him down the stairs. There is no money to make any of this happen and I’m afraid of what the future looks like for all three of them.
We are all going to get hit up for donations this time of year and rightly so – we are all very fortunate. Please hit the Go Fund Me button and do what you can for this family. Thanks
