Assalamu alaikum,

For as long as I can remember, my grandma’s greatest wish has been to perform Hajj, the sacred journey she has prayed for her entire life.

She has always been a woman of remarkable strength and independence. Life tested her in ways most couldn’t imagine, yet she never complained. She raised her family with love, patience and faith, always putting others before herself. She’s the one everyone turns to for comfort, never the one to ask for help.

But now, my grandma is facing one of the hardest battles of her life: cancer. Her health is deteriorating, and each day her strength fades a little more. She can no longer walk long distances and would need to complete Hajj in a wheelchair.

Time is no longer something we can take for granted and waiting years for this chance may mean she’ll never be able to go, meaning this next year is the ideal time (2026).

As a family, we wish more than anything that we could make this happen for her ourselves. But despite our efforts, we simply don’t have the means to cover the cost of the journey, the medical care, and the support she will need.

This fundraiser is our heartfelt plea, to help a grandmother who has spent her life giving to others finally receive something for herself.

Your donations will go directly towards:

• The Hajj package for my grandma and her mahram who must accompany her

• Travel and accommodation costs

• Medical and wheelchair support during the pilgrimage
