Help a good family lay Jakob Haines to rest.

At 8:30 PM,  on February 26th 2021 the community of Lock Haven was struck with the news of a tragedy that you’d never expect to happen in this small Pennsylvania town. The older brother of Joshua Kreitz, Jakob Haines, was taken from his family and friends after being shot and killed at what was supposed to be just a friendly get together among friends. At just 21 years of age, Jakob was just starting his life. As a parent, and as someone who had to lay his Mom to rest at a young age unexpectedly I know two things for a fact, and those two things are that no parent prepares to lose a child before themselves, and that the cost of laying a loved one to rest is more than most families are financially prepared to do. I would love nothing more than to see the community come
together and help this family cover at least some of the cost of laying this young man to rest and ease the burden on the family who tragically and unexpectedly lost a son, brother, nephew , and friend in one of the worst ways you can lose someone. From personal experience every cent raised makes it just a little bit easier on the family and allows them to start grieving a little bit sooner. No one deserves to have someone taken in such a vile manner and I hope as a community we can come together and help the family as much as we can.
