Hi,

Our names are Rachel and Stephanie, We're parents @ Goethe Elementary and we're posting this fundraiser on behalf of another parent who is need of help from the Goethe community. You may have seen recently on the Facebook Goethe parent network page an anonymous poster who was looking for someone to place their dogs with as they are dealing with an eviction. We know this parent personally and can vouch that their story is true and valid. We are posting this fundraiser in order to help this family raise 1st and last months rent plus a deposit as they are looking for another apartment and this is what most places are asking for. They are currently trying to get their car repaired from a recent accident as this is also a barrier since they drive for companies such as uber, lift etc. Their budget is $1500/month for rent and $1000 for car repairs, they are also currently in a hotel that costs $400/5 night stay. We're sure everyone can relate to overcoming one hard thing only to feel like your blindsided by another. We're hoping the Goethe/Logan Square community can come together to support this family. We'll continue to update on where things are with this family and when the funding is dispersed.
