Hello hello! If you don't know me my name is Ari! I'm gonna be straight up: my ass needs a new computer. PRONTO.

I got this 3 year old laptop with 6gb usable of RAM and this literally CRASHES just RUNNING/BEING ON. Tried to get my family to help me out but they told me I should just "be grateful I even have a laptop" (when they bought my brother a 2k gaming pc a month ago and my sister a $700 laptop 4 months ago). My laptop is bought used at a $200 price. I'm just going to say it: that is EXTREMELY unfair. We are NOT poor either my family just does NOT like me.

Now you may be thinking "Bro just get a job" and I definitely agree, but I'm only a freshman at Cal Poly and DO NOT have my bearings on even schoolwork yet. Because of this, I'm trying to find creative ways to raise money for my goal that does not involve hard-set labor. I still have to work for it obviously but it's not going to be in a stereotypical "get an office job" way.

Here's the computer I'm aiming for: 16GB ram, at least 250GB storage, and a decent processor that can actually run things like Roblox without exploding or burning a hole in my sheets from overheating.

I'm not asking for much (have you SEEN the economy?), I just want like $5 if possible. I'm cool even with like $2. Anything honestly helps so much.

I don't think I have to prove that I will be using these funds towards a computer because I would literally be screwing myself over if I did NOT do so. Essentially: it's intuitive (I think I used that word right).

Anyways. Even if you don't donate, reading all this or this sentence makes you really cool. What would be cool too would be sharing this with others, posting it on your story, etc.

PS I've been asking my family for a new laptop for 2 years. That's how long its been up until this point. Had to buy a phone and a tablet for writing with the money I earned in those years.
