Help Abdalrahman’s family evacuate Gaza

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Roaa and I'm currently residing in Qatar. I'm running this campaign with the help of my friend in Ireland to save my uncle, Abdalrahman Alyazouri, and his family from genocide. This is my uncle's story:

“I am Abdulrahman, a son, husband, and father to two young children. Our family unit comprises five members:
  • 1. Abdalrahman Alyazouri (Me)
  • 2. Ghadeer Herzallah, my devoted wife.
  • 3. Saadeya Alyazouri, my esteemed mother, who is 67 years old.
  • 4. Mohammed Alyazouri, my 4-year-old cherished son.
  • 5. Sadiyeh Alyazouri, my 1.5-year-old precious daughter.

My children, Mohammed (4 years old) and Sadiyeh (1.5 years old)

Together, we form a close-knit family unit seeking assistance during our time of need.

Before the war, I was a Software Developer with a bright future. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Web Development from the Islamic University in Gaza (IUG). I began my career freelancing, then moved to programming training at Qubit Coding Center, where I trained almost 300 students until they successfully completed their program and graduated to seek work in this field with a success rate above 60%.

After finding fulfillment in instructing students, I decided to start my own business in academic education, utilizing AI and blockchain. I was on the verge of launching my own company and my project Fasil, also I had participated in many incubators and accelerators in the name of Fasil.

Unfortunately, this dream had to come to a halt.

Today, after multiple displacements, I found myself in a tent in Rafah—provided to us by generous people when we arrived penniless after our home was bulldozed in Khan Younis—with my family. I bear the responsibility to protect and feed them. However, life in a tent is unbearably difficult. Rainwater that seeped through the tent damaged my laptop and tablet that are essential for my work, and ruined all the official documents that we could carry with us. Additionally, some of our belongings were stolen.

Our displacement tent in Rafah.

My laptop's battery swelling after it was exposed to rainwater.

With the looming threat of a ground incursion in Rafah, I'm all out of options but to seek a way to save my family from this relentless horror and evacuate them to Egypt to ensure their safety. I am asking for your help to make this possible.”

As exiting Gaza to Egypt through the Rafah border crossing is impossible for individuals with Palestinian citizenship without paying fees that reach $5000 per adult and $2500 per child under 16, we humbly seek your help in securing the necessary funds. These donations will be with the beneficiary, my friend in Ireland, and they will be used to pay exit fees out of Gaza.

Here is a breakdown of the costs:
$5000 * 3 adults = $15,000 (approx. €14,000)
$2500 * 2 children = $5,000 (approx €4,640)
The remaining €11,360 will be used to secure a new laptop for Abdalrahman to resume his work and to cover living expenses until he gets back on his feet as well as any transaction fees.
