I'm a mother from Gaza, and I carry in my hands a story of pain and suffering— the story of my beautiful daughter, the flower of my life, who is only 19 years old. Not long ago, she began experiencing numbness in her limbs, headaches, and pain in her eyes. I thought it was just a passing illness, but worry pushed me to seek medical advice. After undergoing an MRI scan, the shock came… she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

A harsh and painful disease that takes a part of the body every day and leaves the heart filled with indescribable fear. We wanted to save her, to take her to advanced countries where she could receive proper treatment, but the war stole everything from us. It destroyed our homes, our dreams, and even our hope for treatment.

Today, I stand helpless in front of my daughter’s pain. All I have are some painkillers and vitamins that barely ease her suffering. Real treatment is out of reach, distant as the pain that crushes my heart every day.

I appeal to every heart that beats with mercy, to every person who can extend a helping hand, to help me save my daughter’s life. I don’t want to lose her. I don’t want to watch her fade away while I stand powerless.
