From Rubble to Resilience: A Family's Journey

Hello, my name is Heba, and I am a pharmacist living in Gaza. My husband works as an accountant, and we have two wonderful sons, Majd (15) and Ahmed (14). Before the recent conflict, we had a beautiful home and a happy life. Our sons excelled in their studies, received numerous awards, and actively participated in community activities.

However, during the recent Israeli conflict, our home was destroyed, and we were forced to seek refuge with relatives in Gaza City. Eventually, we had to flee to the south, where we now have no shelter, water, or food. Our sources of income have been completely cut off due to the war.

The most painful aspect of this situation is watching our children's future slip away before our eyes. Once thriving in all areas, they now spend their days gathering wood, starting fires, and fetching water to survive in these harsh conditions.

In addition to these challenges, I suffer from high blood pressure and need to live in a humane environment with the basic necessities of life. It is my right to see a bright future for my children, and to provide them with a safe and stable home.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to seek your generous support to help us rebuild our lives and secure a better future for our children. The funds raised will be used to:

1. Provide Education: Ensure that Majd and Ahmed can continue their education, either online or in schools, so they can achieve their full potential. They have shown excellence in sports, science, and education, as seen in the photos below:

2.Rebuild Our Home: Construct a safe and stable home for our family to live in. Our current living conditions under the war are extremely harsh, as depicted in the photos below:

3. Sustain Our Livelihood: Restore our sources of income and ensure that we can support our family once again.

The breakdown of the needed budget is as follows:

$15,000 for establishing and renting a new home to replace the destroyed one:

($8,000 for rent+$7,000 for furniture and alternative energy source).

$5,000 for education and academic follow-up for the children

$15,000 to establish a small business as a source of income.

Total: $35,000
