Hi friends and family,

As many of you know, moving to Chicago has been a dream for me; not just to live in the big city, but also to pursue my goals in higher education and get a degree in forensic science. I’m so excited to be starting college this fall, but seeing as I fully support myself financially (rent, groceries, bills, etc) almost all of my college expenses will be coming out of pocket for me.

With that being said, in lieu of gifts for my birthday this year, I’m asking for assistance as I begin my first year of college and face expenses like books, enrollment fees, and costs financial aid just won’t cover on top of the bills I already pay every month. It is my goal to be able to graduate college in 4 years, and your support will help me be able to attend school full time while also working to support myself outside of my studies.

I know money is a struggle for many folks right now, so please don’t feel obligated to donate! But if you have an extra $1, $5 or even $10 to spare I would be infinitely grateful for your support in my education journey.
