The past couple of days have been pretty rough, but I’m incredibly grateful to say that I’m okay and everyone involved in the accident is as well. Unfortunately, my car didn’t make it.
I’ve gone back and forth about starting a GoFundMe, but after several conversations and people asking how they can help, I decided to go ahead and share this.
As many of you know, I’m in the process of beginning my foster care journey as a single foster dad. One of the requirements is having a reliable vehicle—not only for getting to work, but also for taking the kids to school, appointments, and everything else life brings.
While I’ve been waiting for my foster license to be finalized, this accident definitely created an unexpected setback.
I set a goal of $5,000 to help toward getting another vehicle. If you’re able to contribute in any way, it would mean more than I can express. If giving isn’t possible right now, prayers and sharing this post are just as appreciated.
As my mom used to say, “Everything has a way of working itself out the way it’s supposed to.” I’m holding onto that and trusting the process. ❤️
