My name is Ahmed Abu Waked, a second-year medical student from Gaza. Since my childhood, I have dreamed of becoming a doctor, driven by my desire to bring healing and hope to others. I excelled in my studies, achieving a score of 98.3% in my high school exams, and continued my journey with a GPA of 96.3% in my first year at Al-Azhar University.

However, my dream has been greatly affected by the recent war in Gaza, which completely destroyed our home.

My family and I now live in a small tent that offers no protection from the heat of the day or the cold of the night.

Over time, our situation has worsened, and we have reached the point of severe hunger. We have been forced to eat expired flour infested with insects and worms, with nothing to add except a little "dukkah." This has become our breakfast and lunch, and often, we go to bed without dinner.

Despite these harsh conditions, my dream of becoming a doctor who serves my community remains alive in my heart. However, due to these circumstances, I have had to pause my studies. I am appealing to you for support so that I can rebuild my life and continue my educational journey. Your help can give me the opportunity to return to my studies and achieve my goal.
