Help a friend in need ALAN ADAIR

I’m sure many of you know Alan Adair has been through a nightmare experience recently - 19 days in hospital with Covid, Pneumonia AND the Legionella bug.

He has now been home 3 weeks and although improved slowly, this last week has had a big setback developing Fever (last 5 days woke up soaked in sweat, a cough & breathing difficulties as bad as ever, which has now resulted him having to go back into hospital.

I’ve known Alan closely for over 35 years and know he is a proud man. The truth is he has not been able to work any hours since July 13th.

He is on minimum wage & Zero Hours Contract and has only received SSP.

Unfortunately pride doesn’t pay the mortgage and bills. The way Alan is feeling right NOW - he thinks he’ll be lucky if he returns in October or even later now - that’s a minimum of 2 & 1/2 months with no earnings.

So Alan (with his daughters approval) has reluctantly agreed my offer to help.

Knowing the amount of good friends he has, I’m certain many will rally to his aid and agree to donate/ share the crowdfunding page with whatever they can afford.

At least by doing this it will be one less worry for him to deal with.

Knowing Al as I do, he would never have agreed to this unless he HAD to.

His full recovery could yet take MONTHS or years !
