Help A Foster Kid Afford Gender Affirming Surgery

Hey everybody, my name is Fennel and for the last year and a half I've been in the foster system. I was unsupported by my parents and was kicked out for being transgender + other things out of my control like mental illness. Ever since I've been low on money and out of financial support.

Today, August 9th, I had my top surgery consultation. I have the chance to have surgery by the end of this year, but the surgeon doesn't take medical insurance or Medicaid. That means I need to cover the cost of this 12,000 dollar surgery almost entirely alone.

Having top surgery was a dream that felt so far off, especially after being kicked out of my home and disowned by my parents & grandparents. But now I could have it done, before I'm even 18. I can be who I want and have the dream of spending my first summer completely comfortable in my body only a year away. If anyone could help me, even with a dollar, that'd mean everything.
