Care She Deserves!
I’m raising $2,900 to cover urgent dental surgery for my foster dog, a beautiful 6-8 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix with severely damaged molars. The Oakland Animal Shelter called her Bachelorette, but we call her "Ursa" or just "Mama."
She’s been with us for eight weeks, probably a discard from a backyard breeder. Despite her past neglect, she has blossomed. She is playful and loves being with humans, but she has received zero adoption interest likely because of her age and current medical needs. Our trusted vet at Mount Diablo Veterinary in Lafayette, CA diagnosed her condition and offered a discounted rate of $2,980 for the four-hour surgery. (See estimate in photo) Unfortunately, the shelter does not have the resources to cover this care.
A little love, a little dental work, and a forever family!
With your help, we can increase her chance at a forever home and give her a pain-free life. Every donation helps, no matter the size. Thank you so much for supporting "Ursa Mama"!
