Help a former foster care student
Donation protected
Update: 05/26
She wears a size 8.5 in shoes and medium in shirts. A medium in pants or around size 5-6 in shorts.
Thank you everyone for stopping by. One of my former students has been in foster car since I taught her in middle school and was homeless long before that.
Her mother passed when I was her teacher in eighth grade. She has been with three foster families since then. She has spent the last month of her high school staying at an extended stay motel here in Cumming.
Despite some pretty rough circumstances, this young lady has remained focused on one goal, graduating from high school. She doesn’t smoke, use drugs, or alcohol. She is a hard worker and is so appreciative for everything.
Aimee and I have been helping her with personal care stuff and helped her find a car. However, we could use some help with day to day stuff for the next couple of months to get her settled in a permanent living situation and until she can find a job. If you are able to give anything please do. I work with a lot of deserving kids, but this one has earned it! Also, if you have gift cards or want to buy her stuff directly that is fine also. Just reach out to Aimee or I.
Thank you so much!
