I have been employed with a renowned airline for the past 14 years. The first 11 and a half years I worked on the ramp and the last 2 and a half years as a flight attendant. Unfortunately, the starting pay rate as a flight attendant resulted in a significant reduction of my income—about one-third less.

As a result, I have been forced to take out multiple personal loans to cover my bills and rent, but despite my best efforts, I have fallen behind. Currently, I am nearly $20,000 in arrears. To make ends meet, I am working both as a flight attendant and a part-time security officer, but I’m still struggling to catch up. I’ve reached out to a charity that assists with housing issues, but unfortunately, their support seems uncertain at this time.
