My name is Kennedy Neal, and I’m reaching out to share my story and ask for your support during a challenging time in my life.

Last June, I proudly graduated from César Chávez Public Charter School for Public Policy in Washington, D.C. As a first-generation college student, this milestone meant everything to me and my family. With the guidance and encouragement of a few incredible teachers who believed in my potential, I began my college journey at Jackson State University. I am currently majoring in Biology with a minor in Business Management, laying the foundation for my ultimate dream of becoming a nurse and serving my community through compassionate care.

Unfortunately, my family members who had planned to help with my tuition balance are no longer able to do so. This has left me with an unpaid balance from my fall semester, and without resolving it, I won’t be able to return to Jackson State this spring.

Being a nurse has been my dream for as long as I can remember. It’s not just a career but a calling—a way to give back, uplift others, and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Attending Jackson State has been an incredible opportunity for me, and I’m determined to continue my education despite these financial obstacles.

I am asking for your support to help me pay off my tuition balance so that I can return to Jackson State University and continue working toward my goal of becoming a nurse. Your generosity will not only help me stay on track with my studies, but it will also bring me one step closer to giving back to my community and making a positive impact on the world.
