Help a First-Generation Student Attend College

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am a low-income first-generation incoming student at the University of Southern California. I have always dreamed of becoming a Trojan and this dream has finally become a reality, but the financial aspect is impeding me from accomplishing my dreams. I have the privilege of being able to study abroad in Prague for my Fall semester, but that comes at an extra expense that I do not currently have the money for. I want to further my education in a school that challenges me to grow on an intellectual and personal level and I know that USC will provide me with the tools to do so.

I come from a single-parent household where I was always pushed to be the best version of myself and create a positive change in the world. By attaining a degree in Business Administration, I hope to be a bridge that connects people from around the world to provide them with a beneficial service that brings more equity into our world.
