Help a First-Generation College Student Pursue Her Dream

Hello! I'm Ana, a passionate artist and storyteller from Brazil, I am currently a junior student pursuing a double major in Graphic Design and Cinema Media Arts at Oral Roberts University. As the first person in my family to attend college, my journey to ORU represents not just my own dreams, but the aspirations of an entire generation in my family.

My Faith Journey

Throughout my time at ORU, God has been incredibly faithful. I've witnessed His hand making a way for me time and time again, opening doors and providing opportunities I never thought possible. While I'm currently facing this financial challenge, I remain confident that He will make a way once more – just as He's done before. I know deep in my heart that He is faithful to complete the good work He started in my life.

At the same time, I'm reminded that faith without works is dead. This truth has encouraged me to take action and start this crowdfunding campaign. I believe that God often works through the generosity and kindness of His people, and that's why I'm reaching out to share my story and need with you.

My Story & Vision

Growing up in Brazil, I fell in love with art, stories, and movies from an early age. This passion wasn't just a hobby – it became my driving force and eventually led me to a life-changing opportunity at ORU. Here, I discovered my true calling: Production Design. This revelation has given my artistic journey a clear purpose and direction.

Production Design is where art meets storytelling in its most powerful form. It's the art of creating entire worlds that bring scripts to life, crafting visual narratives that can touch hearts and transform lives. Through my studies at ORU, I've realized that this is how I can combine my love for art and cinema to make a meaningful impact on humanity – by designing spaces and worlds that help tell life-changing stories.

The Current Challenge

Despite my family's best efforts and hard work, we're facing a significant challenge in paying for this semester's tuition. I need to raise $14,000 by January 31st, 2025. While my family and I have been working tirelessly to keep this dream alive, we're still unable to cover the full amount.
