New Small Business Destroyed By Flood NJ

After months and months of preparation, stress, and tears, my good friends were finally going to open their dream salon. One being a young mom and has not only worked SO hard for this, but also poured her entire life savings into this business. Unfortunately, due to the extremity of the storm, the salon is completely destroyed, just a few weeks away from the grand opening. Since the salon was not yet open, she did not get the chance to get business insurance in time, which means nothing will be replaced, refunded, or fixed. 

We tried to get to the salon prior to the storm and grab anything we could, but it was already too late. Not only did we not make it to the salon in time due to the flooding, but now her car is completely submerged underwater, along with her salon. We had absolutely no choice but to leave the destroyed car and salon behind.

I am devastated and heartbroken that she has lost everything in just a matter of 24 hours. I wish there was more I could do to help, but I know there is no way I could help her on my own.
