Thank you for taking the time to read our story. I am creating this fundraiser for myself and my three children.

Your donations will go towards our rent, their mortage, and moving expenses while we transition to moving in with my mother. In addition it will be used to pay childcare costs, utilities in both homes and groceries. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts as we navigate through this difficult time.

Our story

I am a single parent and my father a firefighter and a 9/11 first responder was supporting us. My father was in renal failure from the months he spent down at the World Trade Center. Sadly, this is not a disease recognized by the World Trade Center and is not covered by the organization at this current time. My father’s three grandchildren were his world. He picked up his youngest grandson everyday from school and looked forward to playing soccer in the backyard. He looked forward to their soccer games and paid the costs for their sports. Anytime my children needed anything G-Daddy as they called him would say don’t worry grandpa will pay. He babysat to save me on childcare costs and helped with my house hold expenses. I’m asking for donations in order to keep his grandchildren’s life as normal as possible. He died on September 5th in my home and today on September 11th I’m asking for your help. He never would leave a man behind and he would want his grandchildren and daughter to not be left behind. He was the first man in any fire, last to leave. He always wanted to save others and would deeply appreciate if you could help us as during this difficult time.
