Hi everyone,

My name is Shanique S. D. Campbell, and I am a final-year medical student at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona. I am reaching out with humility and hope to ask for your kind support in helping me cover my final-year tuition fees, which total US$28,000.

Over the past four years, my medical education has been made possible through a combination of scholarships, grants, a Million Dollar Student Loan, and the generosity of donors. I am deeply grateful for every opportunity and every person who has helped me reach this stage of my journey.

Unfortunately, this year I experienced a major setback. The 50% bursary I had anticipated receiving from UWI was cancelled in 2021 due to a lack of funding, creating a significant financial shortfall. The resources that carried me through the earlier years have now been fully exhausted. While I applied for additional scholarships, I have not yet been awarded any.

As a result of the outstanding balance on my student account, I am currently unable to view my grades or register, and I will be required to register for the remainder of my courses in February in order to complete my degree.

I am so close to the finish line, and any contribution—no matter how small—will bring me one step closer to achieving my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. If you are unable to donate, I would be incredibly grateful if you could share my story with others.
