In a documentary, we are trying to tell the story of Ripley, Ohio and two important conductors on the Underground Rail, John Rankin and John P. Parker. With the help of family, these two men helped around 3,000 freedom seekers. We have applied for grants and been awarded funding, but the money is being delayed for an indefinite period of time by the drastic changes in the government. Go to GoFundMe for more details on how you can help.
This film is a follow-up to our Emmy Award-winning film: "A Higher Law: The Oberlin-Wellington Rescue of 1858."
We are not some big company. We are a husband and wife team who just love making films about heroes who fought injustice and sharing their stories.
