Help a film buff get to Cannes Film Festival

Sam and his brother have a film talk show on a radio station in Brooklyn that got an accreditation to go to Cannes Film Festival. Out of a thousand applications, Sam’s application for accreditation was selected. The accreditation gives him a free pass to the film festival but does not cover airfare or housing. The film festival is in a month and I don’t know why the festival gives you such late notice about if you were accepted or not but planning a trip to France this late in the game is not cheap. Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
