I am a father doing everything I can to stay present in my daughter’s life.
I moved to another country to be here for my little girl before she was born. In doing so, I left behind my work, my home, and most of what I owned. I made this decision because I believe a child deserves to know that their parent showed up not only emotionally, but physically and consistently.
Since arriving, life has been far more difficult than I anticipated. I am navigating complex family court processes while trying to secure fair parenting arrangements for my daughter. These legal obligations are necessary, but they are also expensive. At the same time, I am covering rent and basic living expenses in a country where I do not yet have a stable support network or secure employment.
I am actively looking for work every day. However, legal processes, short timelines, and ongoing court commitments make this period especially challenging. I am not asking for a handout. I am asking for temporary support so I can remain here, stay grounded, and continue moving forward while I work toward being an involved and loving father.
Any support I receive will go directly toward essential costs that allow me to stay present for my daughter, including legal fees related to family court matters, rent and basic living expenses, and maintaining stability while I continue searching for work.
This support would allow me to stay focused and emotionally available for my daughter during a critical early stage of her life.
I believe that being a good parent sometimes means asking for help when you are doing everything you can and still falling short. If you are able to contribute or share this, it truly means more than I can express.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me stay close to my little girl.
