Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are reaching out to ask for help for Denis Glazkov and his family, who have only been in the States for 2 years. Denis is a devoted husband, father, and hardworking truck driver who has found himself in a difficult situation. While on the road in Colorado, he became seriously ill and was hospitalized at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, where he underwent multiple major surgeries. By God’s mercy, he is recovering, but he has been unable to work for over 2 months and can not provide for his family at this time.
Denis is the sole provider for his wife Veronika and their 2-year-old daughter Valya, who are waiting for him at home in Vancouver, WA. His long hospitalization has left them in a financial crisis, struggling to cover essentials and rent.
Due to his recent surgery and a blood clot in his lung, he cannot fly, and long car rides are impossible because he cannot sit for extended periods. After consulting with his doctors, we have found that the safest and most affordable option for him to get home is by train from Denver to Portland, where he can move around and lie down as needed. However, after three months without income, even the cost of train tickets is out of reach, and the family is also facing next month’s rent with no way to pay.
We personally visited his wife and daughter in Vancouver and spoke with his medical team at Swedish Medical Center to understand his condition and travel limitations. Medical transport is not covered by insurance and would cost over $40,000, which is completely unrealistic for the family.
I want to reassure you that this family is not looking for handouts, they are proactively planning to support themselves. Veronika already enrolled Valya in daycare, and will be working and providing for the family while Denis is recovering.
We are asking for your help to raise $6000 to cover:
Train tickets for Denis and a companion to ensure he gets home safely $2200.
Basic necessities for his family as he continues to recover $1800.
Rent and utilities so the family doesn't lose their home $2000.
Let's together help them carry their burden, so they would feel the love and support of their brothers and sisters in Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
Even a small donation can make a huge difference in reuniting this father with his family. If you are unable to give financially, please share this campaign and keep this family in your prayers.
May God bless you for your kindness and generosity!
