He has always been there for me, offering support and kindness when I needed it most, and over time, we became close friends. Now, he and his family are facing an unimaginable challenge, and I want to do everything I can to help them.

Recently, my friend was detained by ICE and is now facing deportation. If he and his family are forced to return to Mexico, their lives will be at high risk. The only way to fight his deportation is to appeal his case, but the legal fees are overwhelming and far beyond what his family can afford, especially as they try to stay safe and together during this difficult time.
